Today we will journey back in time to visitLowell which was “woven” into the tapestry of America’s textile revolution. As we pass through the Iron Mill Yard gates you can retrace the steps of 2000 mill girls who passed this way each day in the 1800’s. During its heyday the city produced a millions yards of cloth each week. We shall enter a turn of the century bank building which is home of the New England Quilt Museum to have a guided tour of the latest exhibition of quilts. Visit a quilt shop.
This morning we will visit Keepsake Quilt Shop, Centre Harbour, honoured as one of the 10 best Quilt Shops in the US. Step inside this quilter’s paradise and be inspired by the hundreds of quilts, shop from 8000 bolts of different fabrics, books, quilting supplies and lots more.
Next stop Meredith on Lake Winnipesaukee where you can have lunch and shop.
This afternoon we will go for our private boat trip on Squam Lake, this was the setting for the movie
“On Golden Pond”. Tangar Outlet Mall.
Our journey this morning takes us to a quiet corner of Vermont. But first we will make a stop for a guided tour of the New England Shaker Village, at the Canterbury Centre. After the tour of the village we shall have a special Shaker Lunch. Now you can relax while we travel through the White Mountains onwards Stowe our home for the next 3 days.

Today our journey takes us to the Vermont Quilt Show. This is New England’s largest quilt show, combining vintage quilts along with a collection of dazzling contest quilts. Also you will find great shopping at the merchant mall which offers an array of fabrics, quilting supplies and needlework supplies of every kind.
On the return back to the hotel a scenic ride through the mountains and take a look at the
“Vonn Trap family Lodge” where the family settled as it reminded them of home.
Inside barns, farmhouses and New England-styled shops you will find every treasures of every description. Art, rare dolls and houses, vintage ball gowns, toys, bandboxes, carousel, cigar store figures, a circus parade and the largest collection of early American quilts in the world, where we will have our private guided tour of the quilts. All these exhibits show you the way of life of time gone by, along with the old barns, bridges, weaving shop, schoolhouse, and more!!
Back to the hotel via a stop at Ben and Jerry’s for ice cream.
This morning we will leave Stowe and make our way to Freeport, the number one destination for visitors to Maine. From the hustle bustle of Main Street to the Salty quiet of the town wharves, some of the best things in life are in Freeport Maine. We will have plenty of time to explore the town. Check in to our hotel for the night.
This evening savour the unforgettable taste of traditional Maine Lobster bake.

We will check out the hotel and visit Kennebunkport where you will explore this cosy, sea-side town whose streets are lined with clapboard cottages and picket fences, you can have lunch at one of the ocean side cafes, where the gentle breeze seem to whisk your cares away.
After lunch we will move on to Knights Quilt Shop where room after room is filled with fabrics, notions and patterns. Next we then make our way back to our hotel in Boston.
– Today we will have the day in Boston starting with a trolley ride of the city.
You will then have time at your leisure, to walk the freedom trail, Quincy market a mecca of shops and international food, plenty to choose for lunch and browse the shops. Later we will visit a Quilt shop and also Jo-Anne’s fabric shop.
For our last few hours, we shall visit Lexington, where the American Revolution began. See the Minute Man in action. Next into Boston for lunch or that last bit of shopping before we depart for the airport for our flight to London.
