Flight to Portland Oregon. Transfer to our Downtown Hotel, which is ideal for the shops and restaurants.
Waterfalls & Mountains.
We shall start our tour with a guided tour of waterfalls and snow covered mountains.
In the evening We will arrive back at the hotel in time for the Managers Reception.
Today we’ll traverse the great City of Portland to visit shops that are filled with fabric, needlework and quilting supplies!! In my quest to bring you the best that Portland has to offer, we’ll shop in the best quilt shops which are as cosy as a country store. Along the way, we will experience both the past and present of Portland as we wind our way through vintage cobblestone streets and Victorian architecture and into the new downtown Portland
Cannon Beach add Breakfast & Lunch included.
Today we visit Cannon Beach on Oregon’s fabled coastline. It is a mecca for artisans. Cannon Beach is lined with shops and galleries that showcase one of a kind handcrafted items. Enjoy a leisurely stroll on the beach, gazing into the distance you will see Cliffside houses, the rocky shoreline and fog-shrouded islands populated only by nesting seabirds. Visit the local quilt shop.

We depart the Portland area and travel South to Salem Oregon’s capital. Our visit here is like stepping back in time with unique shops antique emporiums and department stores form part of the charm of this city for walking. Nestled among the store fronts is a quilter’s fantasyland a shop filled with all kinds of fabrics, notions, trim and books. Next stop is Sister’s nestled at the foot of the Cascade Mountains. Here we will have time to shop before the crowds at the Stitchin Post. Followed by a picnic dinner and a lecture.
Outdoor Quilt Show
Today the show begins the LARGEST OUTDOOR QUILT SHOW IN THE WORLD in SISTERS quilts are hung and draped anywhere in windows over fence post!! Later we will do a shop hop of quilt shops in the area.
This morning as we travel the long and winding road back to Portland, we are surrounded by scenery that can only be experienced in the Pacific Northwest. Fertile farmlands give way to rising forests that seem untouched by the hands of time. Later this afternoon we’ll return to the City of Portland, check in to the hotel.
The day starts with a tour of the International Rose Test Gardens, the oldest Rose Gardens in the county. You can wander through acres of fragment beds, admire 400 plus varieties and 10,000 bushes that make up this Elizabethan style Garden.

Today will board a river cruiser boat for Lunch and a cruise down the Columbia River.

You will have a short time for shopping before we have to depart for the airport.
